Nintendo Amiibo scanned figures revealed, Smash Bros & Mario Kart 8 support - trailer

Nintendo has confirmed its Amiibo near-field figures that can be scanned into any Wii U system.

The first game to support is is Super Smash Bros Wii U. Figures can be scanned into the game as a fighter, and evolve as data is sent back to the toy. They can then be used to battle against your friend's Amiibo.

It's also going to be used in Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Mario Party 10 and Yoshi’s Woolly World.
