Nier: Automata has shipped over 3.5 million physical and digital units worldwide

Nier: Automata has done rather well for itself, and Square Enix is very pleased over it.

Square Enix announced today Nier: Automata has shipped over 3.5 million units worldwide.

The figure encompasses both physical and digital units since its release in March 2017.

In June it was announced the game had shipped 3 million units worldwide, up from 2 million reported in September 2017. That figure was up by 1 million, which Nier: Automata hit within its first month on the market.

Keep in mind the previous figures were only for PC and PlayStation 4, as Neir: Automata has only been available on Xbox One since June. This means another 500,000 or so have shipped since that time.

Well-deserved success, we say.
