Ni no Kuni 2 side quest 143 guide: Make My Sister Smile Again

There are tons of short and sweet side quests in Ni no Kuni 2, littered around the fledgling nation of Evermore and beyond. Most of them are easy once you know what you’re doing, but a few can be a little bit obtuse in their direction. Here’s how to complete Side Quest 143: Make My Sister Smile Again.

Before you can accept this quest, you have to complete the two previous side quests, number 87 - Do you believe in Higgledies - and number 112 - Healing rifts with Higgledies.

Ni no Kuni 2 side quest 143 guide - Make My Sister Smile Again:

  • Complete side quest 87 by cooking up the blue Higgledy Droop the Drenched
  • Complete side quest 112 by cooking up Slingsby the Scorcher
  • Speak to the Hard Working Young Woman in the upper area in downtown Broadleaf
  • Fast travel to Evermore and go to the Higglery
  • Cook up Jumblie the Lovely for 3000G, 11 Sheermint, 9 Sour Salts, 6 Rook’s Brocade, 5 Night-White Thread and 4 Enigma Prism
  • Return to Broadleaf and show the Higgledy to the girl

Full written instructions:

After you’ve completed side quests 87 and 112 and met the Hard Working Young Woman and the Higgledy Loving Little Girl, you can return to them one more time for another quest.

You can find their house by fast travelling to the Broadleaf entrance, turn left and go up the stairs in front of you. Then turn right at the top and go up the second set of stairs. At the top, go up the third set of stairs.

Their house is at the top of this third set of stairs.

Once inside, speak to the Hard Working Young Woman and she’ll say that her sister is starting to feel better, but being inside for so long has left her feeling scared about going outside. When Evan offers to help, the woman asks you to bring a “really cheerful Higgledy” that can cheer up the little girl.

The Higgledy that you need to cook up is Jumblie the Lovely.

Cooking up Jumblie the Lovely:

Travel to Evermore, and go to the Higglery.

To cook up Jumblie the Lovely, you need 11 Sheermint, 9 Sour Salts, 6 Rook’s Brocade, 5 Night-White Thread and 4 Enigma Prism, as well as 3000G.

Once you’ve got the items and cooked up the Higgledy, head back to the Higgledy Loving Little Girl’s house, talk to her and enjoy the heartwarming feeling of reigniting a kid’s love of Higgledies.
