Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom patch adds two additional difficulty levels

Additional difficulty levels have been added to Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom with the latest update.

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom patch 1.03 has released for PC and PS4, and along with new the new difficulty options, additional accessories, skills, and slots were added.

Once the update is applied, players can choose between normal, hard, and expert. These options can be applied from a saved game, or through a new session.

Higher difficulty means tougher battles, obviously, but with such challenges come greater rewards. Players will be rewarded with rarer treasures from monsters, and from chests located in the Faraway Forest, and other areas.

Some of the new accessory drops from monsters will also contain two skill slots, and the quality will be higher. The chance for a rare drop is also higher in hard and expert levels.

Along with the new settings, new equipment skills have been added and various bugs and balancing issues were addressed.

A bug allowing the airship to land in places where it shouldn't has been fixed, and for PC users, a camera bug when using certain screen resolutions has been fixed.

If you're considering picking it up on PC, Ni no Kuni 2 is currently 40% off through the Steam Summer Sale. Once you toss out the cash for it, give our Ni no Kuni 2 guides the once over while you wait for it to install.
