Gearbox will release Battleborn hero number 27 in "the next couple of months" and his name is Pendles.

Next Battleborn character is Pendles and he's kind of a snake - literally

He's a very interesting looking fella. What with looking like a walking snake of sorts. He's also apparently a fiend of Alani who was released in early access today.

Pendles is a rogue class character and comes from Akopos, the same water world as Alani, but he doesn't use the element when dispatching enemies.

Instead, after sneaking up on another player, he uses dual kamas to attack and then disappears.

That's all we know about Pendles for the time being as we'll hear more on him closer to launch. He will be free for everyone with 47,500 credits earned in-game or unlocked instantly using a Hero Key.
