News for Battlefield 1943 PC port coming "shortly", says EA

battlefield1943a2

EA has said that news regarding the PC port of Battlefield 1943 will arrive "shortly".

Hopefully, the comment makes those wondering what the hell ever happened to the game a bit happier than yesterday, because last we heard anything from the game was when systems specs were released.

In the long, long ago, the WWII multiplayer shooter from Digital Illusions was suppose to land on PC in September 2009 before being pushed into Q1 2010.

The developer said that it was not released alongside the PS3 and Xbox 360 version in June last year, so that more features could be added to 32-player game. This was also the reasoning behind the delay into 2010.

Hopefully, to EA, "shortly" is soon because Q1 2010 ends on March 31.
