New Super Mario Bros. 2 costs £10 more on 3DS eShop than at retail

New Super Mario Bros. 2 will launch as a full digital download on Nintendo's 3DS eShop, which is convenient, but costly if new price comparisons are to be believed.

The game will cost £39.99 as a direct download from the 3DS eShop, while it will only run you £29.99 if you buy it from game, CVG reports.

New Super Mario Bros. 2 is on sale at the Nintendo 3DS eShop from 16 August, and at retail across Europe from 17 August.
