New mod brings back original, horrific voice acting to Resident Evil HD

You can now listen to the 1996 original and completely terrible voice acting of Resident Evil in the HD remaster.

The Resident Evil HD remaster that was recently released featured improved visuals and new voice work. However, many fans of the original weren't very happy with the new voice acting. That's not because it wasn't good or anything, but actually because it wasn't as bad as the classic 1996.

It's a 'so bad it's good' case here. Thanks to modder Bunny, the full voice tracks from the original can now be experienced alongside the improved visuals of the remaster.

"It took me a long time to finish this mod mainly because there were more than 500 audio files to edit," he said. "And the dialogues were already mixed with sound effects like footsteps, gunshots, enemies, etc. So at some point the editing process became tedious and I had to take breaks more often."

You can download the mod from here and watch a sample below.
