The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may see the return of everyone's favourite merchant and his handy loyalty club.

A new screenshot for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was released on Facebook this week, possibly showing the return of a beloved repeat character.

Take a squizz at the image above and tell me if that figure in the bottom left doesn't look a bit like Beedle, an insect-themed merchant who has appeared in multiple The Legend of Zelda games - Skyward Sword, Spirit Tracks, Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass and Wind Waker.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has no official release date, but the latest whispers have it down for a March launch alongside the Switch. It's also coming to Wii U.

There's a Switch reveal event next week, so you shouldn't have to wait too long for more The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild news.
