We're not sure if Engelbert was singing about car-based videogames in 1967, but it certainly feel as though we've been waiting 43 years for this.

The last solidity we heard on a release date was "fall" by SCEE exec James Armstrong.

The firm's said a final date is coming "soon", although it was hinted at GDC it could be October.
