New character and costume details leaked for Lightning Returns

A leak from the latest issue of VJump has outed some brand new Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII information. The biggest blunder comes with the announcement that a new character, known as Lumina, will make an appearance at some point.

It is thought Lumina has the capability to both help and hinder the original cast. No details have been provided as to when she will appear, whether or not she's playable, or if her arrival adds extra content. More information should become apparent when Famitsu reveals the scoop next week.

Lightning's costumes have also received a snippet of information. Apparently, she can equip any three going into battle and switch between them at will. While this provides some strange mental imagery, each outfit has an ATB gauge that will advance as you fight. Alongside this, Lightning will also possess a number of new magical abilities.

A new costume for The Dark Muse was also revealed in the form of samurai armor. This is known simply as "Alone in the Dust".
