Nelson on "leaked" Live update: "This is not the list you're looking for"

Speaking in the latest Major Nelson podcast, the man himself and permanent guest "E" have said categorically that a list of supposed Live update feature that circulated last week is, essentially, bullshit.

"Sometime last week there was an amusing list that kind of made its rounds," said the Major. "Now this list was a list that was allegedly leaked from inside Microsoft and had all sorts of features for an upcoming update. I think the official PR answer was... 'We do not comment on rumours and speculation, but we've never seen this list before.'

E and I can tell you, from people working on the product team, because we don't work on the PR team, we've never seen that list before... This is not the list you're looking for. Move along."

E added, "You won't be seeing this coming to a dashboard near you."

Microsoft PR, speaking to Joystiq last week, had already said the list hadn't been seen before, but just in case there was any confusion, now there isn't. You can read the supposed update list at that link.
