NCSoft confirms gamescom press briefing for August 17

NCSoft's just confirmed it'll hold a press briefing at gamescom on August 17.

The conference will take place during the show's media day inside the Koelnmesse. It'll kick off at 9.15am and end at 10.00am.

What's more, a "world exclusive" announcement has been promised for the event. This backs up what NCSoft European sales boss Sarah Rogers told VG247 back in May, saying the company would have a "major presence" in Cologne.

We have no clue what it's about, but considering the recent blowout from Hamburg a couple of weeks back, you're about to hear a date for Guild Wars 2.

Germany: we are pumped.
