NASCAR '14 launching early next year on current-gen formats, first details revealed

NASCAR '14 has been unveiled by publisher Deep Silver. Developed by Euthechnyx, the racer is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 early 2014.

In a press release sent to VG247 the publisher confirmed that the racer will be fuelled by NASCAR's own 'Highlights' tech, that gives players the chance to re-create actual races, complete with the exact weather conditions and starting grids as their real world equivalents.

There's also a career mode that sees players fighting for glory, sponsorship deals and commissioning R&D to improve their ride. It'll all take place across official tracks including Daytona, Sonoma and Talladega, together with online leagues and multiplayer.

We'll have more on the racer as it happens.
