Namco Bandai Studio formed in Japan

Namco Bandai's announced the formation of a brand new development company in Japan this morning, known as Namco Bandai Studio.

The company will handle all development on all existing series', such as Tekken, Soul Calibur, Tales of and others, as well as brand new IPs.

It will consist of 1,000 staff, including the 80 staff brought in from the absorption of the Namco Tales Studio last year, with development areas split off into their own company.

The official means of business for the company as a whole will be, according to Andriasang, the planning, development and management of home and arcade games, as well as network content.

Namco Bandai Studio opens up on April 2.
