MS and Crytek aren't "at a point right now," to show Ryse beyond what's already been shown

Phil Spencer, corporate VP of Microsoft Studios, has said Microsoft and Crytek aren't "at a point right now," to show off its Kinect game Ryse beyond the concept video released during E3 2011.

Speaking with Joystiq, Spencer said while the firm is "still working with Crytek," and is still "extremely committed to the relationship," both parties want to make sure the "best foot," is being put forward every time the game is shown.

"You'll see more about that game, no doubt."

Whether the game is still all-Kinect or not still remains to be seen, but Spencer told Joystiq the peripheral would "be part of the game, absolutely."

Crytek said back in March development on the game was going "really well," and that it hoped to be able to show something new soon.
