Mortal Kombat tournament champ Sonic Fox tells fans to "Vote Bernie" after big win

Instead of an acceptance speech, the first prize winner of Mortal Kombat Final Kombat 2020 used their short time at the mic to encourage viewers to vote for Bernie Sanders.

Tourney champ Dominique "SonicFox" McLean, who wore blue fursuit head and a transgender pride flag on their back as they accepted first prize at the closing of Final Kombat, snuck over to the announcer's mic as the show was closing out to shout out the democratic primary candidate.

While Mortal Kombat 11 developer NetherRealm cancelled both live audience and Last Chance Qualifier events for this year’s competition due to rising coronavirus concerns, Final Kombat was streamed online.
