Mortal Kombat 11 DLC news coming next week

The first news about Mortal Kombat 11's upcoming guest characters should be announced next week.

Mortal Kombat 11 co-creator Ed Boon has confirmed that Mortal Kombat 11 players won't have to wait long to see which characters will be joining the game post-launch.

"If all goes well," Boon promised, DLC fighters will be announced next week. It's not clear if they're all getting confirmed in one go, or if Boon is simply referring to the first couple.

Regardless, it'll be interesting to see if the leaked roster was in fact accurate. The one we're most curious about is the Terminator, which may just end up being true, and may even release around the new Dark Fate movie.

It would be amusing if we end up getting the upgraded T-1000 rather than Schwarzenegger's T-800.

For what it's worth, main roster leaks for Mortal Kombat 11 have largely been right on the money, so there's reason to believe the same is true for DLC characters. We'll keep you updated.
