"More and more" core Kinect games inbound, says Microsoft

Microsoft senior producer Kevin Unangst has said that "more" Kinect games aimed at the core are coming soon.

"There are many [hardcore games] coming," Unangst told CVG at Microsoft's spring showcase earlier this month in San Francisco.

"This is sort of scratching the surface of what's happening, but we've got Child of Eden here today, we've got Twisted Pixel's Gunstringer... and certainly you're going to see more.

"We're not even a hundred days since we launched Kinect yet. It was very intentional with Kinect to go out and deliver blockbusters like Kinect Sports and Dance Central - games that resonated with a broader audience."

Kinect's core line-up for 2011 so far only includes Twisted Pixel's The Gunstringer and Ubisoft's Child of Eden, as well as the LucasArts Star Wars title previously confirmed for 2011 and hybrid Kinect-pad support for Forza Motorsport 4.

Other than that, nothing else has been confirmed.
