Monster Monpiece, Compile Heart's Vita-exclusive card battler filed to the brim with monster girls, will soon be available in English.
IGN reports Idea Factory is bringing the strategic title west in northern spring following a January 2013 launch in Japan.
Monster Monpiece has players battling with cards on a three by seven grid, combining various classes of monster girls on a three by three segment of the field. In between these battles, which are enacted by chibi versions of the characters on the cards, there's a cut-scene heavy story to experience.
Other features include online versus play and the ability to buy cards and items.
Idea Factory has not removed the "rubbing" system whereby players, uh, interact with the monster girls to level them up (in a far less family friendly way than Pokémon's petting system), but did remove some of the racier cards.
"This decision was made solely due to the intense sexual nature of Monster Girl card images. We’d like to emphasize that the gameplay, game system, and storyline are still fully intact," the publisher said in a statement.

Monster Monpiece was one of two games Compile Heart hopefully put forth for western localisation, the other being Holy Sorcery Story, which released last year.
