Monster Hunter World Wiggle Me This: how to get the Wiggler Ticket item to craft zany new headgear

Monster Hunter World's latest event quest gives you access to some truly wacky headgear.

Wiggle Me This is the latest limited-time event quest in Monster Hunter World - and it has a particularly brilliant reward, the Wiggler Head Helmet. This piece of unique gear covers your hunter's head and replaces it with... well, it looks like the head of a Wiggler if it were a sock puppet or something.

It wiggles about as you walk, as you'd expect from the name. It looks absolutely ridiculous, but it's also actually a fairly decent piece of armor with some really useful buffs attached. If you don't believe it, check it out in motion in this video from Arekkz...

Wiggle Me This: how to get Wiggler Ticket items to craft the Wiggler Head Helmet gear

Okay, so - the first thing you need to know about the Wiggle Me This event quest is that it's only available for a week. If you don't go ahead and complete this quest and get your hands on the necessary items to craft the Wiggler Headgear inside the next week, you're going to be out of luck - and given how unique this gear is, you won't want to miss out.

In order to get the headgear you'll need to complete the associated quest, titled Wiggle Me This, repeatedly. In order to access the quest you simply need to head to the notice board, scroll down to events and then find the associated quest. Simple, right?

It's a six-star quest, so you'll need to be hunter rank 11 or higher in order to access it.

Once you're in the quest, you simply need to capture 10 Wigglers. They're the little worm-like creatures that stick up out of the ground in the Coral Highlands.

They get spooked and disappear quickly once they notice you, so you'll need to have fast fingers and work fast with the Capture Net to nab them. If you're unclear on using it, we've got a full guide to capturing monsters and also capturing critters with the capture net.

When the wigglers disappear, keep in mind if you back off a bit they'll soon resurface. You'll need to catch 10 of them for the quest, and then return to Astera with them. The 10 Wigglers you've captured can be traded for a Wiggler Ticket.

You'll need three of these to craft the Wiggler Headgear, so you'll need to run the Wiggle Me This quest at least three times in order to get the gear. Good luck!
