Monster Hunter World: Iceborne players can expect continuous updates and large DLC drops

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne players can expect plenty of DLC to be made available for the expansion.

Capcom said Monster Hunter World: Iceborne players can expect several large, free DLC drops for the expansion.

Speaking with Gamersky, producer Sakamoto Ryusan and executive director Kaname Fujioka said there will be new monsters and new elements added to the game via the DLC (thanks, PCgamesN).

That said, with Capcom concentrating on the expansion, this means DLC for the base Monster Hunter World game will no longer be developed.

But, at least content for Iceborne will be “continuously updated” which will keep players rather busy.

A preview event was recently held for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, during which new subspecies were revealed. You can check out gameplay videos for Viper Tobi-Kadachi, Coral Pukei Pukei and Nightshade Paolumu at the link.

Iceborne releases worldwide for consoles on September 6 and will arrive on PC in January 2020.
