PC release pushes Monster Hunter World: Iceborne past 4 million units shipped

Monster Hunter World has reached a new milestone thanks to the launch of Iceborne on PC.

Monster Hunter World's Iceborne expansion is already success for Capcom. Iceborne has now shipped 4 million copies, including digital units, on all platforms.

This is up from the 2.8 million Capcom reported in October. The PC version is likely responsible for the bulk of that difference, though Capcom didn't provide specific numbers for PC.

As expected, Iceborne's PC launch also boosted overall sales for the main game. Monster Hunter World has now shipped, including digital copies, over 15 million units worldwide across all platforms. That's over a million more than October.

Monster Hunter World is now Capcom's single biggest-selling title, and the first to break 15 million.

The PC launch of Iceborne has not entirely been flawless, with reports of save files getting deleted, and some performance problems seemingly introduced with the patch. Capcom is currently looking into these reports.
