Monster Hunter World looks sharp in first PC gameplay

Monster Hunter World's PC version is not far off, and there's nothing like raw gameplay to help show off a game.

Capcom sent out Monster Hunter World PC code early to the press and content creators. We're working on our footage and write-ups, but we didn't want to keep you waiting.

The video below from our friend Arekkz provides our first look at the game finally running on PC. This is the first 18 minutes up to and including the first Great Jagras hunt in the story.

It's nothing too spoilery here (story is not that important in Monster Hunter World), but if you may want to skip the first cut-scene if you want to go in completely clean.

This is 1080p footage with all settings turned all the way up. There's an option to leave the frame-rate unlocked, which Arekkz did. The video shows the full graphics options menu, and there are quiet a few of them.

This is also our first look at mouse and keyboard controls, and they seem to work fine. Catch all 19 minutes of footage below:
