Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate to contain 73 different monsters, and lots of other goodies 

Capcom has provided a list of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate goodness, which reveals the actual scope of the game's size.

Not only does it include 73 different monsters new to the title plus baddies from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, but it also contains one new A.I. shakalaka companion, Kayamba alonside Cha-Cha.

That's not all: it contains 211 new quests with 339 in total - not counting the free DLC quests; 2042 new pieces of equipment with 3061 in total (1398 weapons, 1663 armor pieces); and the three new areas consisting of The Tower, Misty Peaks and the Tainted Sea.

The firm also provided a list of the monsters you will be hunting, broken down by first appearance:
