Molyneux reveals plans for Curiosity follow-up, to be called Cooperation

Peter Molyneux has disclosed that he is working on a follow-up to his upcoming mobile experiment known as Curiosity: What's in the Cube.

Apart from the fact that it's going to be called Cooperation, details about the game are scarce right now. However, Molyneux claimed during an interview with Polygon that it's going to be "the biggest cooperative effort the world has ever known."

"If you think of (Curiosity) being the biggest mystery posted to the digital world, Cooperation is the biggest cooperative effort the world has ever known," said Molyneux.

Molyneux warned that it might not be your typical game. "Cooperation is very, very different, maybe it's not a game, or maybe you'd call it a social game."

He also cited tug of war as being an inspiration, and said that Cooperation is going to be competitive.

Curiosity: What's in the Cube releases next month. The game will enable players from all over the world to chip away at a cube made from more than 60 million smaller cubes until one of them finds the surprise lying within which will apparently be more life-changing than $50 million.
