Molyjam to build PeterMolydeux's designs

Late this month, industry types will hold a development jam to build games brainstormed by Peter Molyneux's Twitter parody.

Although the idea has been passed around in jest, it was Double Fine's Anna Kipnis who decided to make it official.

The jam is tentatively scheduled for March 30 to April 1. The core jam is open to the public and will be in San Francisco's Bay Area, but external attendees are supported. Get more information here.

A sign up sheet has attracted over 100 interested parties and the blessing PeterMolydeuxNOT himself. The popular parody account has so far only inspired one real game, but has floated plenty of workable ideas.

Vox Games cites an anonymous source for word that Molyneux may even participate in the jam.

The parody account was temporarily shut down last year after concerns it was not clearly marked as unofficial, but made it back online to the delight of its many fans. Since leaving Lionhead and Microsoft, Peter Molyneux has been noted interacting positively with PeterMolydeuxNot.
