Miyamoto working on new WiiMotionPlus game

wiimotionplusa

Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed he is working on a new game that supports WiiMotionPlus.

And no: it's not the new Legend of Zelda for Wii.

He confirmed the news as he picked up a "Special Achievement Prize" at the Annual Japan Media Arts Festival over the weekend.

So far, the only first-party title that supports the add-on is Wii Sports Resort, but it was confirmed at the end of January that it'll be essentially needed to play Wii's new Zelda title.

The identity of the game game wasn't mentioned, but at E3 2008, Miyamoto did say he was working on Pikmin 3.

It wasn't shown at the event last year, something for which the Mario creator was only "sorry" for.

Thanks, Andriasang.
