Speaking after his acceptance of a BAFTA Fellowship on Friday, Shigeru Miyamoto said he doesn't really see videogames as "art".

"It's a great honor that my name might be listed as a fellowship member along with such a great director as Hitchcock," said Miyamoto, speaking to AP, further adding, "I have never said that video games (are) an art."

The Mario creator picked up the Fellowship at the weekend to celebrate his time in the games industry. Find his full acceptance speech here.
