Missile Command record broken after 31 years

This weekend, Swedish gamer Victor Sandberg set out to take the Missile Command record, set in 1982 by Victor Ali with a score of 80.5 million. The determined arcade fan livestreamed his attempt, which lasted over 56 hours, and eventually took the crown by bowing out with 81,796,035 points. You can watch a recording the stream, or just check out this clip of the record being surpassed, and Sandberg's eventual game over. The original Missile Command was released in 1980 via Atari and Sega.
