Minecraft Xbox 360 update 1.8.2 launches today, adds creative mode

Minecraft Xbox 360 owners will finally be able to sink their pixelated axes into the game's long-awaited 1.8.2 update, which adds a full creative mode, more mobs, edibles and a slew of bug fixes into the mix.

Developer 4J Studios announced the update's certification on Twitter, along with the message, "Microsoft has confirmed that we've passed Cert Test, and the 1.8.2 update will be out tomorrow (October 16th)!"
