Minecraft's successor is a game about horses on cliffs, called Cliffhorse

Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson has unveiled his first commercial release since the blocky sandbox, and it's ... unusual.

cliffhorse

Cliffhorse is a game about horses on cliffs, and is available via a dedicated website. You can grab the PC-exclusive download for free, but Notch has asked for players to donate dogecoin to the project.

The call for donations may have been a joke, given the currency and the fact that the "early access" version may not ever be updated, but it makes Cliffhorse the first commercial game developed by Notch since Minecraft.

It's made a bit of money, too.

Thanks, Joystiq.
