Whiteark's a HUGE desert city in Minecraft and it's not even finished yet

Whiteark is a vast, desert city which occupies a 1057 by 824 block area. In the real world, that doesn't very big but in Minecraft, it's rather large indeed.

Not only is it detailed and really lovely, it has its own lore and politics.

The long-term solo project is the work of Minecraft player Auksie, who started Whiteark with his brothers back in 2012. Once the brothers quit participating in the project, Auksie started soloing it.

Whiteark has been in development for 20 months now, and it's still not finished.

He says on the forum that while there isn't a download option for the world at present, "there be one eventually."

"This is a single-player world that I only occasionally open to LAN with my brothers, " he said. "But this will be available eventually, in both this form and adventure map form, which i'll get to writing more about another time. Sooner if there is interest."

The link provided above has many more shots of Whiteark as well as plenty of detailed information.

Auksie, we salute you sir!
