Shinji Mikami will continue to be the producer on Shadows of the Damned despite the buyout last week of his new studio Tango Gameworks by ZeniMax, VG247 can reveal.

Mikami will continue alongside director Goichi Suda and audio director Akira Yamaoka at Grasshopper Manufacture on the EA Partners-published horror, even though Tango, founded by the Resident Evil creator, was bought by the parent of Bethesda last week.

"Shinji will serve as creative lead on the games developed at Tango Gamework and will fulfil his remaining obligations to Grasshopper pursuant to their prior agreement," a Bethesda rep told us.

Mikami recently served as director of OTT Platinum action title Vanquish.

Shadows of the Damned was finally revealed at Tokyo Game Show back in September following a previous announcement of the collaboration in 2008.

It will release next summer for PS3 and 360. Watch the short Halloween trailer for it here.

ZeniMax announced the buyout of Tango Gameworks last week, its third accqusation following id Software and Arkane Studios.

It isn't yet known what its currently working on, but artwork that was outed earlier today from the developer's blog may point as an indicator.
