Middle-earth: Shadow of War may let you import your Shadow of Mordor save

Your Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor save file could have a use in Shadow of War.

Now that we've seen how much more expanded the Nemesis System is going to be in Middle-earth: Shadow of War, questions arose about whether or not our nemesis in Shadow of Mordor can play a role in the story of the sequel.

Seeing as every player's nemesis was unique to them in the first game, it would make a lot of sense from these baddies to carry over to Shadow of War. Luckily, it's not just us who thought of this.

GamesRadar asked Monolith Productions creative vice president Michael de Plater if it's going to be possible transfer save files between the two games.

"Oh... I don't remember what we're allowed to say about that," de Plater said, before leaving to confirm with a Warner Bros. representative. When he came back, his answer was the typical, "We're not saying anything at this time."

As the site notes, just the fact he didn't outright say no in the beginning means the developer is at least considering the feature. There's also the possibility Monolith is saving this reveal for E3 or some other time before the game's release.

In any case, while this isn't confirmation we'll be able to bring our saves forward, it at least leaves the door open.
