Microsoft will be at PAX Prime this weekend with Xbox One, games, "surprises" 

Microsoft will be at PAX Prime this weekend showing off Xbox One and a load of games at its booths August 30 - September 2.

Here's what's on hand:

The Games : Dead Rising 3, Project Spark, Kinect Sports Rivals, Fable Anniversary, Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Battlefield 4 and other "surprises at the booth," including games Major Nelson said he wasn't at "liberty to divulge . . . yet."

Starting at 10:00am and ending at 6:00pm, 30-minute demos will rotate through the following schedule:

  • Kinect Rivals – 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm. 4:00pm
  • Spark – 10:30am, 12:30pm. 2:30pm. 4:30pm
  • Fable Anniversary – 11:00am, 1:00pm. 3:00pm, 5:00pm
  • Dead Rising 3 – 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm

Halo 4 Global Championship

The battle continues at PAX Prime with the Halo 4 Global Championship powered by Virgin Gaming at Benaroya Hall. Players will battle to claim the title of “‘Halo 4’ Global Champion” and the coveted $200,000 (USD) grand prize. Plus, Major Nelson will be hosting a live stream (that will be available on the Xbox dashboard) of the finals on Sunday from 4p-6p.

The firm will also be kicking off PAX with an official Xbox Meet Up open to the public.
