Microsoft games top Amazon E3 pre-order charts

E3 this year was filled with nostalgia. Sony fans were treated to the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter, and Xbox fans got the Rare Replay - a collection of 30 Rare games emulated for Xbox One.

Amazon UK has revealed the top ten most pre-ordered games at E3. The list only covers games (and peripherals) revealed during E3 2015. Microsoft held the two top spots with Rare Replay and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition.

Here's the full list:

  • Rare Replay
  • Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
  • Doom
  • Dishonored 2
  • Final Fantasy 7 Remake
  • Gears of War 4
  • South Park: The Fractured But Whole
  • Horizon Zero Dawn
  • Dishonored Definitive Edition
  • Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller

In addition, the retailer revealed that a few other games that were featured at E3 also saw a great spike in pre-orders - as to be expected. Top of the chart is Microsoft again with Forza 6, which saw an increase of 1005 percent. Star Wars: Battlefront's pre-orders came second, as a result fo a 857 percent hike.
