Microsoft Flight dated, first DLC carries hefty price tag

The free-to-play update to Flight Simulator, Microsoft Flight, has been dated for January 29 and will be available directly from its website, Eurogamer reports. The game's first major piece of DLC will also be available on launch day: the Hawaiian Adventure Pack goes for 1600 MS Points, and includes 20 new missions, more challenges, "hundreds of miles of additional airspace" and one place, the Vans RV-6A. Two additional planes will be made available for purchase as well - the Maule M-7-260C for 1200 MS Points and the P-51 Mustang fighter plane for 640 Points; the latter's cheaper because it doesn't include a cockpit view.
