Metro: Last Light comes to Mac via Steam Play

4A Games has announced that their atmospheric shooter, Metro: Last Light has made its way to the Macintosh and that version is now up on Steam Play. This means that if you own the PC version, you've got the Mac release for free. However, being one of the most graphically intense games of the last few years, better check if you Mac can run it after the jump. A Linux version is supposedly coming soon.

I can't say I've followed Apple's hardware revisions too closely in the last few years, but it looks like the current revisions of the Macbook Pro and iMac should both just about meet the reccomended specifications, although I don't think the Macbook Air quite makes the minimum specs. Check them out for yourself.

OS: 10.8.4 (Mountain Lion)
Processor: 2.7 Ghz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB RAM
