Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes Xbox One: The First Fifteen Minutes

Ground Zeroes might not be all that long, but even the first fifteen minutes is pure Metal Gear Solid.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is out and Metal Gear fans have already put a ton of hours into the admittedly short single-player experience. USgamer writer Kat Bailey gave the game 3.5 out of 5 stars in our review, calling it an "an interesting taste of what is to come in Phantom Pain."

"As an appetizer though, it does its job. The story, brief as it is, has its share of shocking (and gruesome) moments, which are made all the more powerful if you've previously played Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker," she wrote. "In a way, Ground Zeroes has done its job a little too well. With my appetite whetted, I'm definitely ready for more Metal Gear Solid. But I think I'm done with the appetizer. Time to bring on the main course.

If you're still on the fence as to whether you're picking up Ground Zeroes or not, we've recorded the first fifteen minutes of the game for your enjoyment.

M.H. Williams is new to the journalism game, but he's been a gamer since the NES first graced American shores. Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
