Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes website updated with plot synopsis, more

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes publisher Konami has updated the game's site with an official plot synopsis and all of the screens and trailers so far. Check it out here.

It follows confirmation of the Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes - Deja Vu mission, coming exclusively to PS4.

Now, the new Ground Zeroes site offers a detailed plot synopsis of the prologue game.

It's set in 1975, as Snake's mercenary group MSF has attained nuclear capability, causing panic in some corners of the world. Ahead of the impending nuclear inspection of the group's HQ 'Mother Base', Snake learns that female spy "Paz" - introduced in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - is alive and is being interrogated at a US naval base in Cuba.

Determined to rescue her, Chico heads to the base, only to become captured. Snake then dusts off his sneaking suit and embarks on a mission to save them both.

There's also a section outlining the special Deja Vu mission, which sees the original Metal Gear Solid's first mission recreated to Ground Zeroes standards.
