Metal Gear Rising DLC lets you play as bosses

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has a busy DLC slate moving forwards. Platinum Games has detailed new content packs that will let you play as JetStream Sam and LQ-84i - the first boss that kicked many asses in the game's demo. Also, Snake's back! (Sort of).

An update on Platinum's site has been translated by Metal Gear Solid TV, and reveals that the game will be getting more DLC beyond the first pack of 30 new VR missions.

Boss JetStream Sam looks like he'll become playable in some form. Whether this is just a character skin or VR mission avatar remains to be seen, but Platinum posted two images of him in action:

There will be a third DLC pack that makes robotic dog LQ-84i playable.

Platinum's VR mission DLC will hit Japan in April at ¥300 / £2. It'll be PS3-exclusive when it first hits America, and will come to Xbox 360 shortly after. The VR pack also has a wooden sword that talks like Solid Snake, which is pretty weird.

No dates have been given for the Sam or LQ-84i DLC.
