Medal of Honor: Warfighter day one patch comes highly recommended

Medal of Honor: Warfighter goes on sale in the US in just a few hours, and users are very strongly advised to download and install a substantial day one patch before leaping into the fray.

EA has released the patch notes, probably to help convince users to bite the bullet and grab the patch as soon as possible - Danger Close "heartily encourages" everyone to grab the patch, which is coming to both PC and consoles.

The full notes are much too long to be of interest to most of you, but contain fixes for a significant number of single- and multiplayer bugs, some of which sound quite serious.

Speculation has linked the patch to rumours that review copies have not been supplied in as timely a fashion as usual; we don't review, so aren't in any position to comment, but IGN reports a delay, and said EA wants reviewers to experience the patched version.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter lands in Europe on October 25 and the UK on October 26.
