Mayhem racer coming from ExciteBike 64 dev, says ratings boards

leftfield

Seems like the ESRB and OFLC just exposed Mayhem, a new racing title from Evolved Games and ExciteBike 64 developer Left Field Productions.

According to the US listing, Mayhem is being developed for PS3, 360 and PC, and allows players to compete in "various demolition derby-style events to earn 'mayhem' points and unlock new levels".

The ratings board also hints at the possible visual style of the game, with "comic book style captions" appearing to highlight high-octane crashes.

The OFLC, Australia's rater, has listed Evolved Games as the game's publisher, which suggests this is going to be a downloadable title.

Evolved previously released Raven Squad and Terminator Salvation.

The second rating says Left Field Productions is the "author". We're assuming that means "developer". Left Field is probably best known for ExciteBike 64 the Dave Mirra BMX games.

There's no date.
