Leaked prototype footage for Mass Effect: Andromeda appears - rumor

Purported footage of Mass Effect Andromeda has leaked, and while it looks legitimate, keep your skeptic hat on due to the timing.

Watch on YouTube

The 2014 prototype footage seen above was found by a NeoGAF user on "a website of a certain developer" currently working on the title.

It shows how the player will be able to use jetpacks to get atop buildings, it gives the viewer at look at Krogans and pollen you don't want to mess with.

The HUD shown in the video matches the one seen in an image posted by Bioware back n November 2015, adding a more legitimacy to the footage.

EA removed the original video on copyright grounds, but mirrors have popped up since. The video above is from PCgamesN who captured the footage just in case the inevitable happened.

Still, be wary. Always be wary just in case. We've added "rumor" in the headline for this very reason.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is slated for release in early 2017 with a full E3 2016 reveal expected by most during EA's offsite event.
