Mass Effect 3's FemShep almost certain to be blonde

The votes are piling up, and it seems Commander Shepard's female form will be chasing the peroxide unicorn.

Contrary to reports, BioWare is yet to make an official announcement regarding its its Facebook poll, but current results have the blonde version way ahead of the pack with 25,999 Likes.

A black, long-haired FemShep with a red streak in her bob is in second place with 10,502 Likes, closely followed by one with dark hair pulled back tightly.

The only ginger of the mix is trailing in fourth of the six options, with a strange fringe cut in last place.

There may still be time to sway this thing, if you have about 10,000 Facebook identities.

BioWare has said the original default FemShep will also be playable in Mass Effect 3 when it releases in March 2012 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but it seems this blondey will be the one to have her mug splashed across the game's collector's tin.

Woe.
