ME3's default FemShep look open to fan feedback

BioWare is asking Mass Effect fans for feedback on a set of FemShep concepts - although even if a new look is chosen, the iconic ginger will still be available in Mass Effect 3.

BioWare has uploaded a set of six images to Facebook of possible new looks for default female Commander Shepard, ahead of her marketing debut for Mass Effect 3. Fans are asked to Like those concepts they think best.

Thankfully, this doesn't mean the end for the default FemShep of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Producer Casey Hudson confirmed on Twitter that the red-headed star of many a galactic adventure will still be available as a preset appearance.

Hudson added quite mysteriously that those who import a Mass Effect 2 save will be able to "tweak" their character. It's not clear if this relates to appearance, statistics or storyline, or how extensive the changes can be.

Mass Effect 3 is due on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in March 2012.
