Mass Effect 3 goes Gold, confirms BioWare

BioWare executive producer Casey Hudson has confirmed on Twitter that Mass Effect 3 has gone Gold ahead of its March release.

The completion means the game can now be printed for retail and review for journalists.

Here's Hudson's full tweet: "After an awesome effort by our team, I'm proud to announce #MassEffect3 is officially GOLD! Many surprises await you - this week and beyond."

The Gold confirmation comes ahead of the launch of the RPG's demo tomorrow on PSN, Xbox Live and PC after early access to the taster kicked off over the weekend.

Mass Effect 3 launches on March 6 in the US and March 9 in the UK for PS3, 360 and PC.
