Mass Effect 3 drone operation ends in failure

Mass Effect 3's Operation Vigilance did not go as planned. Players were tasked with completing 250,000 drone escort missions over the course of the weekend, and failed miserably - probably because they were playing D&D and drinking cider instead. In a sad note from Admiral Hackett, the soldiers of the galaxy were gently chastised - but thankfully, not punished, as when we failed at Operation Shieldwall and BioWare upped the number of Banshees for a week to teach us a lesson. No word on the next Operation yet; BioWare throws an event every two weeks.
