Mass Effect 2 coming to Japan this winter

Microsoft's announced Mass Effect 2 is coming to Japan this winter.

No other details were given other than the new version's headed for a winter release, but expect more out of EA's TGS showcase next week.

The original Mass Effect launched in May 2009 in the country, a year-and-a-half after it did in the west in November 2007.

The wait's obviously a lot shorter this time: the sequel launched in January of this year in the west.
